What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
As little as possible if I can get away with it.
What do you do for a living?
I work the nuclear power circuit around the country
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
High School I played Football, Basketball and Baseball. And I played college baseball
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Bob Jacobs from WSC letting me tag along.
What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
the speed of the game. Conference play is take care of business and move on to the next where non-conference is more relaxed
What was the best advice you were ever given?
My Dad always said "swing hard in case you hit it"
What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Play ball with who ever where ever always look to play up.
What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Infield mostly 2nd and some 3rd
What batting grip do you use?
Pinky off the knob and over lap 2 fingers
What ounce bat do you use?
27 endload.
What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Gym and BP as much as possible
What is your favorite sports team?
ROLL TIDE
What is your favorite sport other than softball?
College football. SEC
Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Getting in the box I Make a lil number in the dirt then hit the plate with my bat on the back swing to make a mark on the plate with the end cap.
What is your most memorable softball moment?
The peach state in 2009 playing with TEAM KITTY had a good pick up team and went 2-2. Beat AJS/Easton and a good GA team and then lost to Suncoast Reebok 27-26 and lost to Major league miken at 12:30 am we ran out of gas but had a blast for a 2-2.
What would be your "at bat" music selection?
TAG TEAM ( whoop there it is)
What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
Maybe limit the number of major players to a team?
What is your favorite non-World tournament?
The Mullet in Niceville Florida
What is the best softball field you have played at and why?
Big league dreams in West Covina California.
Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Buffalo Wild Wings
What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
My brother on the field. You never know what he is goin to say.
