Too many good players to just only come up with one.
Why do you like the game of softball?
It lets me stay competitive in a sport

There are so many good up and coming players around my area…..Drew Smith ,Justin Smith, Clay Norton, Brock Morrison

Just hanging out with my family
What do you do for a living?
I'm basically a counselor for kids
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
I made Basketball my Full-time hobby when I got into High-School. Played one year of basketball at Saginaw Valley State University.
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I started playing travel ball with my brothers and a few of my buddies for a few years. I got noticed by a former Reds Boys player named Rodney Falls who basically took me under his Wing and got me hooked up with the Conference.
What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
Just how good every team was defensively and the fact that most lineups from top to bottom have very good hitters.
Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
I have no clue…but I do consider myself to be very fast and I have the ability to do a good job of not hitting homeruns even though I think I have stadium power.
What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
I've never won a world tournament so I don't yet consider anything else I've done to be a highlight.
In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Rodney Falls…..he has helped me with my approach at the plate.
What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Just play as hard as possible. You CAN'T teach hustle and that's what most coaches like from there players.
What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Two finger overlap with my pinky on the knob. 27 Balance.
What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Just lift weights and do cardio to stay in shape

North Carolina Basketball

None
What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Any type of festival tourney near where I live. I love just hanging out with friends and playing for fun.
What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Columbus Berliner…..Turf Fields!
Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Anything with Grilled Chicken
What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
None
What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
I would have to say breaking multiple basketball records for my High School.
