Outfield and first base
Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
There are so many great players but someone who I've always thought was a pure hitter was Scott Kirby. Scott is pundits for pundits one of the best power hitters I've ever seen.
Why do you like the game of softball?
I love to hit and softball is a hitters game
Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Johnny Allen, he is one of the most natural athletes I've seen on the ball field. Besides him being a great player, he is an even better teammate and friend.
What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Riggs. I've always worn the number 33. An old teammate related the character from the show Friday night lights to my wearing of the same number of 33 and similar demeanor.

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Spending time on the beach with my bulldogs
What do you do for a living?
Civil engineer
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
I played 4 years of college baseball and had a small stint in pro baseball before enduring multiple surgeries
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I started softball 5 years ago when I got into the airforce. I give credit to pup shorthand and Gary Lafoun for giving me a shot at competing at a high level
What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
How consistent the players are at hitting
Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
Scott kirby
What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Be humble
What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Regular baseball grip
What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Everything with strength training and hitting
What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Cardinals
Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
My clothes always have be clean before each tourney game

Letting new players get in to play

Band aid

Dream fields in texas. Great fields
