Can play anywhere besides 3B and 1B. Best positions are MI and Pitcher

Murf, have had it since I was a kid.

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
With my family or on the golf course
What do you do for a living?
Sales Rep for a food manufacturing company
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Baseball, Basketball and Football in high school.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I grew up around the game and played my first tournament with my dad when I was 16. Started playing on a tournament team in 2008 and started my own team in 2009.
Highest level I have played is C but that is because I wanted to continue to play with friends and not pursue other options.

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
I would say when I first started my first team back in 2009 with a bunch of high school buddies that had no idea what softball was and only losing 5 games in 2 years.
In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
My dad. He taught me this game is not just about power but just like baseball you have to be smart and work harder then anyone else.
What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Play up as much as you can. Don't be afraid to put your name out there.
What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
pinky on knob. 26oz
What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Workout and hit.
What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Boston Redsox.

What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Corky's in MN. Great atmosphere
What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
OKC Hall of Fame Complex. Specifically the main field.
