1st/3rd/Outfield. Where ever needed
Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Keith Laski.. KP with smash it.
Why do you like the game of softball?
The competitiveness and rush I get when playing. Every worry disappear's when I'm on the field and the friends I've made while playing is worth it all.
Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Owen Grissom. The guy can flat out play and hit it with anyone.
What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Jwright.

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Relaxing around the pool and hanging with my wife.
What do you do for a living?
Robotic specialist for Toyota Motor manufacturing
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Played 2 years juco and 1 year at University of Alabama Huntsville.
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I haven't made it to the conference level yet but played B class all this year and 5 of the conference events with HGC.
What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The professionalism of the players and the umpires.
Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
I have power and can hit for avg but I can't really compare myself to anyone.
What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Hitting a grand slam in the if game to put us ahead in the wsl world's this year.
In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Earl Creel. The advice and way he showed me to play the game as made me what I am today.
What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Just listen to the old guys and take their advice serious. Keep a calm temper.
What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Pinky overlap and 27oz endload.
What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Hit the gym everyday and keep my core loose and strong.
What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees.
What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Pic in Chattanooga. It's an open tournament and no one can complain about who your playing.
What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Chattanooga. Just a well kept complex and great atmosphere.
Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?

Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
I'm scared of heights
What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
Winning the WSL worlds in Panama City and making the All world team.
