Who are you playing with in 2019, and who have you played with in the past?
2019 Klika Empire from El paso, TX playing C Ball.
I have played with Irum Nation at C level and West Texas Guzzlers and the Brotherhood for military ball.

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
I play a little of every position to help the team, but my primary and best positions would be middle or Shortstop.

Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Robert Blackburn. Smoothest swing I have ever seen on the diamond.

Why do you like the game of softball?
Fast paced sport, where I could still live my childhood dream of competing in tourneys at the highest of levels and meeting new people.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Mike Nino. Dude is humble and a magician with the stick.

What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Jimmy because my last name is hard to pronounce for most.

What is your height and weight?
6' 230

Where do you call home?
El Paso, TX

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Playing ball and spending time with my loved ones.

What do you do for a living?
Currently a Fulltime Student

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Playing Baseball in both High School and College.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
I was stationed in South Korea and saw a team having tryouts. So I asked to workout with them and fell in love with the sport.

What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
Not in conference yet, but played a few conference tourneys. The difference I have seen is the intelligence and speed.

Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
I study the game as well as all the top players, so that I can make myself better.

What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Given the opportunity to become a factory hitter for the Louisville Slugger family is definitely my highlight.

In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Jerry Surber. Took me under his wing, taught me the physical parts of the game and help mold me to understand the most important aspect of the game, the mental side.

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Complacency and cockiness is killer. Stay hungry and don't ever feel comfortable enough to think you made it.

What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Over lap and 26.5 Louisville Slugger

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
There is no off season for me.

What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
Boxing and its between Miguel Cotto and Floyd Mayweather

Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
Secretly love country music and the country lifestyle. Guess it's not a secret anymore.
