Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
There are too many to name. Have played with and against some really talented players.
Why do you like the game of softball?
The speed of the game, there are hardly ever any boring games. And the friendships I've made from playing the game.
What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Log or Log-Nuts (Thanks Sid)
What is your height and weight?
Not tall enough

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Spending time with my wife Julie.
What do you do for a living?
Sales/marketing for a software company.
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Played Baseball in HS and College.
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Filled in playing coed league with my wife and was asked to play mens league. Played a mens tournament and was hooked.
Was asked to go to Denison TX for the snowball with B&B Drywall, saw some upper level softball for the first time and decided I wanted to pursuit it.
What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
The respect between players and umpires. There is the normal bickering that you expect but the friendliness between everyone. And the skill of the players, balls that normally are hits don't fall in.
Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
Not that I know of.
In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
Can't think of a single person I can recognize more then others, have been fortunate enough to learn from a lot of good players in the Kansas City area.
What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Never take a play off and be a good teammate.
What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
Overlap with 27 or 28oz.
What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Try and Hit as much as possible.
What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
KC Royals.
Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
No superstitions just habits

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
So far I've enjoy the game the way it is.
What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Dudley is a great tournament. Minnesota loves softball and the people are awesome.
What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Really enjoy two parks Hall of Fame in OKC and Centennial Park in MN.
Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
No preference.
Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
Slight OCD when it comes to having things in their place.
What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
Game used ball from a Royals Game (Bachelor Party) was a wedding gift from my brother.
