Not playing with anybody I played with a couple of different teams until my own team Folded
What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Outfielder/pitcher
Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
Enjoy seeing Ryan Harvey and Flip Washington
Why do you like the game of softball?
Enjoy playing relaxes me being on the field
Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
I wouldn’t know off the top of my head
What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Skinns because my last name is skinner
What is your height and weight?
6’0 and 220
Where do you call home?
Ventura, California
What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
At the field playing ball of course
What do you do for a living?
I’m a welder
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Baseball in high school. Baseball at a junior college
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
A great friend of mine brought me out during summer break of junior college. I got to the upper level by playing with GSP and then running with TOE2TOE playing c’s and B’s and finally ran my own squad in. B’s but folded.
What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
Just the energy level the Competitiveness
Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
Not off the top of my head
What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
I just want to do my very best. Vegas tourney in December batted well that game, dove for some good plays, and pitch a great game in Relieve.
In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
My good buddy that got me with toe2toe he new I would be an impact to the team playing outfield and even pitching. He new I loved the game
What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Keep training hard set your goal and practice
What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
I usually use where I overlap my hands and I use a 27
What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Gym and batting practice live/cage eating healthy
What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
I’m a Atlanta Braves fan and love watching hockey and baseball
Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Not really
What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Rock hip-hop country
What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
My game play
What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
I wouldn’t know there are alot
What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
Vegas and Florida they have nice fields I enjoy a nice field to play
Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
In and out
What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Someone getting snipered rounding third to win the game
Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
I’m usually the quiet one but when you get to know me I’m a great person to be around
