Why do you like the game of softball?
Lets me still compete in the game that i love to play.

Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Steven Llyod, that guy has more god given talent than anybody i have ever seen and he kills it

What is your nickname in softball?
Jonesy

6' and 215

Where do you call home?
New Smyrna Beach, FL

What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Just to relax and spend time with my beautiful wife and our 4 kids.

What do you do for a living?
Operating Room Tech

Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Played football, wrestling, and baseball in High School. Should have continued to play baseball in college but i was a stubborn kid.

How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Went out to play league ball with some friends and that was it i was hooked. Mike West gave me a shot a couple of years ago to play for his team in upper softball and we had success together and it has grown from there.

What was the best advice you were ever given?
Never Give Up

What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Be humble no matter what the circumstances are, you never know who is watching.

What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Pitcher, but can play anywhere in the infield

Standard Baseball

What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Pitch and play as much as possible.

What is your favorite sports team?
Philadelphia Phillies

What is your favorite sport other than softball?
Football

Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
Too many to even put down

What is your most memorable softball moment?
Last years season with the Demarini/Dirty guys, that was some of the most fun i have ever had playing this game, and to do it with friends that you have battled against for years was sweet.

What would be your "at bat" music selection?
Anything heavy, punk

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
That could take all day

What is your favorite non-World tournament?
The Smoky's

What is the best softball field you have played at and why?
Disney, just because they are so well maintained

Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Applebee's or Chili's

What is the funniest thing you have ever seen on a softball field?
Mike Wrenn dancing all over the field, that guy is one of the funnest guys to have on your team.
